Title: 1.8T AUQ - Used EBAY ECU, is it stock? 06A906032BJ
Post by: Bas64 on January 07, 2026, 10:28:37 AM
Hello. Total beginner here.
Ive an 064 on a 1.8T (bought as it is) but I'm not convinced by the map at all.
MAF g/s seems to be massively under reporting, targeting 1λ most of the time, as some examples of things that worry me.
So I bought an ECU off ebay, same product code, last two letters are different, SJ on the car, ebay one is BJ (06A906032BJ)
Anyway.
I was thinking to take the ECU off the car and put it somewhere safe as a backup.
And use this ebay ECU in the car instead and experiment with tuning that.
But I want to know if the map on the ECU is stock or has it been tuned also. I want to start with a known good program if you know what I mean.
If someone would like to take a look it would be much appreciated!
(I did the read using a V2 in boot mode, this is the ID info it gave
"HW:
SW:
VIN nr.:
SW ver.: ID MANU = 0000
Spare:
Engine:
HW Ver.: ID CHIP = 0000 AMD 29F800BB
SW upg.:
Installation: SIEMENS C167
")
