Title: MED17 Cylinder Specific Injector Corrections/Trims? Post by: connor123me on February 20, 2026, 09:26:59 AM Hello all, been a while since I posted here.
Just got my injectors back from being cleaned and tested and the results are in: Injector Avg normalized flow Trim multiplier Trim % (add fuel / remove fuel) 1 97.19% 1.0289 2.89% 2 103.42% 0.9669 −3.31% 3 102.72% 0.9735 −2.65% 4 96.62% 1.035 3.50% The injector shop recommends I tune to adjust the injector constants to properly account for the variances. Usually scaling injectors when doing so for the whole bank is done via KRKATE However I cannot find anything in the FR that pertains to any kind of cylinder specific injector constant variable. Googles AI Gemini seems to think it exists, but in the MED17.5 and MED 17.1.62 FR's that I have, I cannot find anything. "1. KFFLTP (Individual Cylinder Correction Factor) This is the primary map used to apply a correction factor to the fuel mass for each specific cylinder. Function: It serves as a multiplier for the calculated injection time. If an injector flows 2% less than the others due to mechanical variance, a value of 1.020 in this map will compensate for that deficit. Dimensions: It is typically a 3D map indexed by Engine Speed (nmot) and Relative Filling (rl). Structure: There is one map for each cylinder (e.g., KFFLTP0, KFFLTP1, etc.)." Is anyone aware of something like this for the MED17 ecu's? |
