Title: ME7.5 HJ (06A906032HJ) – Map Switch + User Adjustable Launch Control + Pop Post by: Pascal20 on May 02, 2026, 06:02:00 AM Hey guys,
I’m currently working on a 06A906032HJ (ME7.5, 1MB) BIN for my 1.8T AUM and have implemented the well-known User Adjustable Launch Control + Map Switch mod from the NefMoto thread but there the Code was uncomplete and I fixed it. How it currently works (controls): Launch Control setup: - Engine running - Press the brake 2 times, then press the clutch multiple times - Repeat until the MIL (check engine light) turns on - Then set the desired RPM using the throttle - Press the brake once to confirm Using Launch Control: - Press the clutch + full throttle → Launch Control activates Map switching: - Ignition ON (engine off) - Hold full throttle - Press the brake to switch maps - The selected map is indicated by MIL flashing (number of flashes = map number) Current status: - Map switching is working (selection via ignition + brake presses + throttle, confirmation via MIL flashing) - Launch Control (clutch + brake logic) is implemented, but on HJ it was more difficult → likely due to address differences compared to HS/HN but it works - I had to cross-check several parts with the original PDF since some addresses and values don’t match perfectly on HJ - Some regions in the binary appear to be dead code / leftovers (no indirect calls found) Issues / open points: - The setup itself is working, but still needs fine tuning on the calibration side (maps only) - I’m trying to create a proper crackle map, but it’s hard to get it clean - I already have a BIN where crackles work, but it’s not smooth — the car jerks/stutters in the RPM range where it pops Additional request (important): I want Pop & Bangs ONLY on Map 1, with the following behavior: - Active only on Map 1 - Completely disabled on all other maps (OEM-like behavior) - As aggressive as possible (hard bangs, not just mild burble) - Preferably active in a higher RPM range (~4000–4500 RPM and above) I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance Title: Re: ME7.5 HJ (06A906032HJ) – Map Switch + User Adjustable Launch Control + Pop Post by: Pascal20 on May 02, 2026, 06:10:37 AM Here

It got a bit messy. The rest are the PDF files for the code and a KP file. I also have an XDF for TunerPro — if anyone needs it, just let me know.I’m currently working on a 06A906032HJ (ME7.5, 1MB) BIN for my 1.8T AUM and have implemented the well-known User Adjustable Launch Control + Map Switch mod from the NefMoto thread. does anyone know how to get No Lift Shift working properly? Back then I tried the Setzi version/mod, but I couldn’t get it to work. Now I want to give it another try. Maybe someone has an updated or revised version of Setzi’s No Lift Shift, or could help me set it up correctly. I’d really appreciate any help. This is only the User Adjustable Launch Control and Map Switch.does anyone know how to get No Lift Shift working properly? Back then I tried the Setzi version/mod, but I couldn’t get it to work.
