Hi, I'm new here and have a few questions. It's about the Bosch ME 7.2 ECU installed in an E39 540i. Long story short, I converted my E39 540i to an 8HP70 transmission, so far so good. Unfortunately, the shifting isn't very smooth or clean. A CanTcu is used as the transmission control unit. The car shifts too harshly and roughly, so it's really uncomfortable. And it's my daily driver. Now for my questions: Is it possible to change anything in the maps related to the shifting process, for example, the timing of torque reduction during shifting, fuel cuts, blips...? Could you theoretically adjust something in the existing maps to make it work better with the 8HP? Or would you have to add custom patches, and would that even be possible? I can't even find proper Damos or XML files for the software version 5701 I have. I can't find any at all, only for newer versions, and even those aren't really complete. Perhaps someone could answer one or two of my questions? Thanks a lot :)
