Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: tdo4h on September 05, 2012, 06:44:04 AM Thanks for the reply, will give it a try and will let you know, must i pull out my Cluster fuse?
Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: Stompen on September 05, 2012, 08:54:02 AM I still haven`t needed to pull the fuse, so I think you should be OK.
Also, from what I understand, the ross-tech cable should be in dumb mode.. The easiest way to get nefmoto to work with your ECU is to buy a cheap ftdi (obd2) cable off ebay.. Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: tdo4h on September 11, 2012, 01:01:39 AM I can conect slow but canr read my memory?
Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: Stompen on September 11, 2012, 08:58:58 AM try the 29f800 instead of the 29f800bb. Dont think it should have anything to say, ut its worth trying.
Are you still using the ross-tech, or did you buy a ebay obd2? Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: tdo4h on September 11, 2012, 10:31:51 PM try the 29f800 instead of the 29f800bb. Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: Stompen on September 12, 2012, 05:55:52 PM Ah.. you can probably read mem, but you cant validate it..
Like prof said.. what happens if you press ok? Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: phila_dot on September 12, 2012, 06:01:06 PM Just pull the ECU, open it up, and look at the chip already.
Reading with the wrong memory layout shouldn't cause any problems. Just produce a garbage file. Title: Re: Cant Log in to my ECU Post by: Gonzo on September 13, 2012, 04:13:08 PM Its 800BB but I bet you 5 bucks Nefmoto won't be able to read it out.
