Title: Correction for Saab injectors
Post by: envisible on September 07, 2012, 07:07:03 AM
Hello.
I bought saab injectors, Bosch p/n 0 280 156 023 for my A4'02 AMB engine.

They are 382cc at 3 bars.

Firstly, I corrected KRKTE to 0.07384 (from ME7 tunung wizard) and KVB from 316 to 425.

And after starting I has very rich mixture..And additive correction goes to out of limit..

What wrong with me?
Which tables I nedd to correction in additional?

I'm sorry for my English..

Are you using 4bar fpr?

KRKTE is too low but does not explain rich conditions.
For 3 bar fpr KRKTE should be adjusted around ~0.087 and KVB == 382.

After one more flashing problem solved :)

I'm using stock fpr, as I khow, it's 4bar.

I use 0.07 KRKTE and I have -2.3...+1.1 lamba-correction on idle. Is it OK? And additive is about 4%..

Is it necessary to correct TVUB table?

I d add ~4% to your current KRKTE value  :)

Thanks. 4% additive means rich condition?

Hello again..
Since 2 days of driving, I have MIL ind
and vag-com shows:

17544 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (add): System too Lean … 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded

Something wrong in my fuel system?
I have no changes of boost, just change the injectors nad KRKTE and TVUB tables..
Maybe my injectors are not really 382cc and I need perfomance test to check actual flow?

Are 2002 AMB having 4 bar fpr?

proffesor has been telling you the whole time that your injector calibration is off.

Positive fuel trims == lean condition

What I should do now?
Can I use these injectors or they are broken and I need a new set?

Sounds like a tuning issue to me.

Have you tweaked your calibration or are you completely relying on that "wizard"?

Injectors are not calibrated correct and that causes this MIL and probably driving variations.
As phila_dot says your tuning file needs adjustments.

Hi,

Thanks for posting the file. Let's have a look to it later.

First some extra questions to be sure : You have NO other modifications made, right ? ? ? ?

NO other turbocharger, NO other downpipe, ect, etc, to get more power, right ? ? ? ?

Thanks,

PvL

No, my car is fully stock, just injectors are changed..
I have a 2.0 tfsi crankshaft, 144mm conrods and pistons for stroker, but I will install that in the cold winter evenings :)

Now I just learning to setup my ECU :)
