Title: New guy Post by: Nozza1978 on September 15, 2012, 03:56:16 PM Hi guys I'm new to here and looking for some guidance, I have a mk4 golf 1.8t AUM and I'm looking to remap it, it has had before I bought it an apr free trial and has been left with a checksum error as a result of this, any help is much appreciated

So I'm just looking to erase it and hopefully upload a tuned file.

the checksum was picked up when the car was scanned but is not eraseable with vag-com. I think you will have to patch eeprom (or use "virgin" with already disabled checksum dtc) and rewrite it. Then upload original flash file for virgin file to adapt |
