Title: MKV Jetta - Disabling ESP on start? Post by: Jason on October 29, 2010, 08:50:56 AM Just curious if the ECU has any control over ESP functionality, or the default state. In previous cars I have owned, I built a circuit that basically started a countdown timer when it received power, and then briefly closed the button circuit to simulate a button push - retaining the ability to turn it back on if required. While crude, it worked.
I have also seen posts about disabling ESP in the ABS controller, but that's completely disabled (supposedly retaining ABS) I'm just wondering if there is a more robust solution perhaps... :D |
