Can someone send me a Definition file (XDF) as per title. Been looking around and can't seem to locate. As for a guide - unlikely. There is not a guide for everything. If you can't figure it out with a hex editor and ida pro, then you will just not figure it out... I hate asking for handouts, but I couldn't get the R32 file on here to offset against the CP. Does anyone have any definition files for the CP? Also, any advice for gains? They've got a horrendous flat spot as stock and I'd like to remove it. I guess IRL/IOP is dead in the midrange. KFPED could do with being less sensitive too. I've probably done something on it for def).
Drop us a message or post up a few map/function locations you're after if you need me to post a csv of the locations of them. What causes the flat spot? Title: Re: ME7.1.1 R32 XDF Definition file - 022906032CP 6463 0261207885 371754 Post by: Mikhail on April 04, 2017, 10:03:02 PM Set lamda 0.85, test what a bit more ignition advance would do, test cam advance/retard, test intake manifold flap switch rpm.

from what i understand. i open the hex file using winols. then i go to the address where winols suggests a "MAP" is. i varify this "map" address and size with that of the excel sheet? i create the"map" add a description. and boom its under my maps. question!! the map disapears when i close winols. where do i save these"my maps" what version of winols is better. any help here? am i even on the write track? You can def any mk4 one with the files on here really, there's only a few bytes added here and there so you can see the hex figures around them so you just shift the offset a touch and re-define. Take a look here, the green 05's at the bottom, you can see that before them if you follow it, it goes 96, 7D, 64 etc all the way to the 00, 05, 50 bit then you can see added values there before the FF, FC bits - that's all the differences there are, easier if you try and see those patterns though if you're planning on spending time on it; (https://farm1.staticflickr.com/977/41480874404_dd45a2ee71_b.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/26cwjMJ)032CP CW Noromchkreset online file (https://flic.kr/p/26cwjMJ) by Rick B (https://www.flickr.com/photos/146155164@N03/), on Flickr Title: Re: ME7.1.1 R32 XDF Definition file - 022906032CP 6463 0261207885 371754 Post by: vwdubNam on August 06, 2018, 11:31:39 PM Thank you. im a noob,
but i am willing to learn, this is exactly what i meant to ask, i see from the screen shot you have a r32 turbo file, i will need a basic map to get my car going once all my parts arrive. i will start a new forum about my build. i havent had look at my mapping as yet since my radiator had a crack in it. so i moved my battery to the boot, and is currently installing the aluminium radiator.
