Title: very rich= 0,75 at high load
Post by: schattenparker on October 31, 2012, 08:37:10 AM
Hello,
i have an problem with my car. At first some details:

1.8t + K04-064
630er Siemens
8,5 compression

second O2 ist coded out, also n80, n112 and N249

When i take a testrund from 100 to 200 km/h at high load i logged lamsons_w: 0,81 / 6000 Upm. But lamsoni_w says stable 0,75. The same effect i also see at 5000 upm where my lamsoni_w show also stable 0,75.

Our first Idea was the EGT-Sensor. So i coded it out (CLAATR, CLAATS, CDATR, CDATS, CATR set to 0 and TABGSS to the maximum.) but there is no positiv effect. In my maps KFLBTS or LAMFA there is nowhere 0,75.

attached you can find a log which you can see the problem.

any discussion will help me...

many thanks ;)

Your problem isn't lamson, it is lamsbg, which is following lambts.... which is .81 for some reason.

You'll need to take another look at your BTS tables, or log dlambts, lbts and flbts

i can't logged dlambts, lbts and flbts, there is no entry in my ecu defin. file

KFDLBTS for test I have set to zero, so i think dlambts is also zero: same result.

FBSTABGM is set to one so that can control my lambda via LAMBTS.

LAMBTSENABLE can only be 1 or 0.

example:

Lambts: 0,81 - 1 + 0(dlmbts) * 1,015808 (FBSTABGM) * 1 (flbts) + 1 = 0,80699 far away from 0,75....

You're wasting your time looking at BTS. This enrichment isn't targeted.

How are your fuel trims?

Can you log dlamatr?

Is there any information about your setup that we should know?

Are the N80 and N112 physically removed?

Lambda 0.75 seems to be ME7's favorite lambda failsafe.

In his log I see lamsbg = .81, not .75

This is a wideband car. Actual lambda lamsoni is reading 0.75, but target lambda lamsbg is 0.81.

That's the problem.

i should look tomorrow.

Can you log dlamatr?

yes, dlamatr_w. I added it to my config. But dlamatr is only a delta lambda for EGT Sensor, i think when I set CATR to 0 the funktion issn't active?!

only what i writing in the first post.

I saw somthing like this when fuel trim exceeds 25%

problem fixed ;) FKKVS was the cause...

Gents ,

Could FKKVS continually cause the requested to drop down to 0.65 ish after 4500 rpm , it pretty much triggers all the time at this rpm.

Its a ecu from a BAM engine in a mk1 golf with 20VT. Lamfa nd BTS are corrected and not "stock" as such..

Any ideas ? EGT seems to be reading proper .. Not sure if its over reading ..

Regards

FKKVS does not affect requested. You need to log your car.

What variables are you logging? You can back track from lamsbg_w where the request is coming from.

@phil_dot , I am shamefully still using the vcds.

@ Prj , I will post the logs shortly

Don't bother posting logs unless they are ME7L...
