Title: IMMO3 OFF help request Post by: UrbanAssaultar on November 22, 2012, 02:41:51 PM Got a spare 4Z7 907 551 S ME7.1.1 ECU and I am trying to get IMMO turned off, was successful to get a EEPROM dump with ArgDub's ME7_95040 - EEPROM tool. Looking at the dump file with the hex editor in TunerPro, I am not finding anything in the search on which values to change. Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried the clone route and this is the error that comes up when I try and read out data from the ECU installed in the car. There was no point reading to a file because it fails every time, so I printed contents to screen instead. Ver: 1.31 Com Port: 4 Baud Rate: 10400 Opening COM4 ... OK Initiating communication ... Title: Re: IMMO3 OFF help request Post by: aef on November 23, 2012, 12:26:15 AM Have you tried bootmode?
Title: Re: IMMO3 OFF help request Post by: UrbanAssaultar on November 23, 2012, 07:15:36 AM Yes, boot mode works with the spare ECU and I can write to it under that mode. I didn't save a log for that process though. I used APR's IMMO clone software also with no success. It threw a fit when I tried to write data saved from the car ECU to the bench ECU. I realize these files mean nothing because of their format, but I have attached them anyway.

Title: Re: IMMO3 OFF help request Post by: UrbanAssaultar on February 16, 2013, 08:25:46 PM Not quite, on the to-do list. I had my original ecu tuned, this is just a spare to tinker with.
