Title: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: skravo on January 09, 2013, 06:21:05 AM Hi Guys, my ecu died and I have tried a 8D0 907 551 L version (S4 with stage 1 tune), but am getting boost issues and the CEL light is constantly lit. Anyone with the original file above, it would be greatly appreciated/ willing to pay for your time.

2001 Allroad Tip. :) Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: ddillenger on January 10, 2013, 10:32:48 AM You need another euro file, as the emissions components are different that NA (like the l-box s4 bin) cars. Maybe a D-box with auto softcoding would work.

There is no euro S4 with autobox... Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: skravo on January 12, 2013, 06:25:05 PM I've got an s4 Stage 1 Ecu working with the car at the moment, but when it starts to boost it jerks and dies and a huge cloud of smoke comes out behind me. So I can drive it like a granny with little to no boost. It shows the ECM light as well. When unplugging the MAF ofcourse the ESP, Suspension and ABS lights come on, but it drives and idles normally. So i'm driving without the maf plugged in atm. I have a guy helping me, but he is 2000klm away so have to post the ecu possibly to make any changes a this stage.
I have just recieved a K version ECU from the US, but the immobilizer is preventing me from testing it. My old ecu I don't think will be able to get any data off so I wont be able to program the SKC to the new K version ecu. I have also looked at the images online, but my pcb board is different and i cant tell which chip the immo would be on. There are 3 chips with 4 pins either side like what the other b5 tutorials have for removing the immo. I'm wondering if they can get the SKC from the key at all? Any help appreciated, and pic of my ecu below. Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: ddillenger on January 12, 2013, 06:49:20 PM I'm sorry-4b0907551k, or 8d0907551k? I'd assume the latter as former didn't have immo. Regardless, the immo is stored on a small soic-8 chip marked 95040. You can read it via bootmode, and write it in bootmode with argdubs tool. I have a sticky in flashing/chipping entitled Understanding/retrofitting immobilizer. Part 2 is what you want.
Is the stage 1 file you have setup for the proper MAF? Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: skravo on January 13, 2013, 11:28:40 AM The file is setup for a Hitachi MAF which I have, but apparently my car has narrowband sensors which may be the problem?

Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Post by: skravo on January 13, 2013, 12:06:36 PM Allroad's have 4 wire narrowband sensors. This is confusing my tuner as well. I think it will be too hard to fit wideband sensors and then have to rewire back to the ecu.

I can see a chip with 950403 and 9040 on it, the others are completely different. Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. Furthermore, the ECU does not even have code to read them, since it was not compiled with that option. Title: Re: Help, need 4Z7 907 551 H 2001 Allroad file. I am still figuring out nefmoto and getting it to work with my cable, but as soon as I do so, I will get that file from my car and post it here. Feel free to email me if you want me to send it directly as well.
