Title: reading m3/5 in bootmode Post by: k0mpresd on January 22, 2013, 11:00:24 PM so, i came across an aeb ecu i really needed to be able to read. small problem though and reading through a programmer was not an option.
i had the idea to pull the chip off and solder to an me7 and read in bootmode. it worked! got my full flash read (all 512kb of it ;)). ;D its quite the work around but appeared to work. just thought id share. Title: Re: reading m3/5 in bootmode Post by: k0mpresd on January 23, 2013, 10:08:46 AM i read it as a 512kb file. then i cut it in half. so i ended with 262,144 bytes.
