Title: How P0130 is set?
Post by: masterj on January 23, 2013, 11:38:44 AM
Hi, guys!
Does anyone know how P0130 is set? I mean what variables/functions force it to be set. I believe it is LATV related but not sure. Need info and thanks

I am interested as well. I deleted my rear o2s via ESKONF and now I have the p0130 code present.

Same thing here, already replaced front o2 sensor 2x with OEM just incase by crap luck the first one was defective.  Same result, after the rear o2 delete I am stuck with p0130.

No, you need to patch code on some wideband ME7 (all?) or hide the  faultcode.
I might have linked to wrong page in thread 2016, it would have been better to link to a specific msg.

edit:
Sorry about posting in old thread, somehow it showed in my "unread posts since.." even though last post was 2016 by Jerry.

Just to have correct info in here - never ever needed to patch any code or hide any fault classes on any 1.8T ever.
Probably codewords not set correctly, that fault code never ever gets set with the relevant diag functions off.
