UNLESS you use an immo-off file from here, not immo-off your own file, in which case your SKC will be based on the 95040 bin you used. That's an example, not your file, but the SKC is located in the same place. It sounds as though the 'immo defeat' file changes or removes the security matching portion of the eeprom contents such that the SKC of the ECU doesn't need to match the SKC of the cluster; otherwise the immobilizer system is still functional.
