Title: Tuning nmax and vmax Post by: icarus on March 05, 2013, 05:34:03 PM ok so this will be my first changes in my software. because its simple and trying out tuner pro. so i open nmax ( it's a scalar obviously) and it is set to 64. is it safe to say then that my rpm limit is 6400? and moving it to 67 would make it 6700. my confusion is also that i heard the rpm limit is supposed to be 6700 stock anyways. my .xdf did not have vmax so i added it an xdf parameter using the location i have in a spreadsheet. and when i open that scalar it is set to zero, is that normal when creating parameters?

Title: Re: Tuning nmax and vmax Post by: icarus on March 05, 2013, 06:03:52 PM well here is my bin xdf and the spreadsheet i have showing where the info is to create xdf maps
Title: Re: Tuning nmax and vmax Post by: k0mpresd on March 05, 2013, 06:18:08 PM nmax is 16af4. says it right there in the csv.
Title: Re: Tuning nmax and vmax Post by: icarus on March 05, 2013, 06:29:20 PM yea when i open it up in tuner pro it shows up as 64. so the value for my rpm limiter is 64? so thats 6400 i am assuming
Title: Re: Tuning nmax and vmax Post by: ddillenger on March 05, 2013, 06:31:07 PM I highly doubt that's right.
I just checked, when I looked at your bin nmax had a value of 6800, and the location I have is the same as yours. How do you have the scalar configured? It's a 16bit variable, with a conversion of .2500000*x (enter that into the equation field) sooooo, you have the right location, but you need to configure the scalar.
