As i'm new to flashing ECU's and doing a lot of reading on here to get me upto speed i want to know what other bits i may need to get started I'll be using it to de immo an Audi TT 1.8t ECU as i want to use it in my mk2 golf without the clocks I have bought a Galetto 1260 cable on Ebay and its on its way to me I guess i need a 12v power supply which i think i may have in a cupboard from my R/C days and a harness, i saw a lovely pre built harness on another post in this forum, or is it easiest to go to scrapyard and cut off a plug from a car ??? Post by: ddillenger on March 09, 2013, 03:26:22 PM Easiest is to buy a harness, but cheapest is to chop an end off a junkyard harness and make your own. As for a power supply, just find a stable 12vdc supply. I use one from a cable modem. Puts out 14.8 volts@2 amps.
The galletto cable works well with nefmoto BTW. |
