Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: ddillenger on March 12, 2013, 03:47:59 PM Sorry, File:
4d0907559e Pretty sure the axis' are correct, but the map address is giving me fits. Offsetting it a bit from 121F6 to 121C6 looks ALMOST right, but still not sure. Thanks for your interest! I appreciate any guidance you can offer. Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: sweegie on March 12, 2013, 04:01:12 PM I'd put KFZW at 0x120fa and KFZW2 at 0x1233a. KFZW_1 and KFZW_2 sandwiched in between. 12x16 8bit signed :)

Thanks sweegie. :) Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: IamwhoIam on March 12, 2013, 04:37:30 PM 120FA, 121BA, 1227A, 1233A, 123FA and 124BA

Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: airtite on March 12, 2013, 11:17:10 PM hate to hijack but 2 questions what would you label the other kfzw maps as? kfzw3 4 5 6?
then could someone confirm the addresses for those in this file http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1932.0;attach=2892 I have kfzw at 11E5E Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW_0, KFZW_1, KFZW_2, KFZW2_0, KFZW2_1, KFZW2_2. Now that I'm looking at your file now. Title: Re: Does this look right? Now that I'm looking at your file now. Yep, i believe that only KFZW_0 and KFZW2_0 are in use within the RS6 binary, but i suspect all will be in use in a normally aspirated S6 car, to change timing based on the variable intake length. KFZW/2 Post by: airtite on March 13, 2013, 09:15:42 AM sorry another hijack but my file also seems to have 6 KFPED maps, KFPED starts at 15744, I see in the rs6 file it has 3 kfped kfpedl and kfpedr (automatic) what would I label the kfped maps in my v8 file?
Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: sweegie on March 13, 2013, 09:36:00 AM I'd wager they are the same. Pedal map, pedal map for low speed, and pedal map for reverse.
Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: ddillenger on March 13, 2013, 11:34:56 AM Attached is my rs6 xdf and matching bin. The OLS is all sorts of wrong, so I use TP for looking at the file.
Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: airtite on March 13, 2013, 12:02:17 PM I'd wager they are the same. Pedal map, pedal map for low speed, and pedal map for reverse. fair enough but my file has 6 kpped maps vs the 3 for the rs6 file Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: sweegie on March 13, 2013, 02:57:39 PM I think the C5 S6 was available with either manual or auto boxes, so I suspect you may have a sets of 3 maps in the file to handle each. How to they compare to each other?

How to they compare to each other? sorry for the confusion mine is a b6 s4 not the rs6 Title: Re: Does this look right? KFZW/2 Post by: sweegie on March 14, 2013, 04:47:42 AM lol
ok, i had a look & the B6 S4 is available in auto & manual too, but there are separate engine ecu part numbers for the manual and auto boxes. Dont know how different the software is internally, and whether the pedal maps for both transmissions are included.... Guess we'd need to see both types of file to be sure. |
