Title: IMMO defeat in my ME7.5 Post by: tbm on March 29, 2013, 04:09:08 AM Hi guys,
I swapped my engine from AGU to AUQ and according to this I need to swap my current ECU 3.8.x to ME7.5. But I need some help with below: 1. I read EEPROM from my new ME7.5; 2. Defeated IMMO in the eeprom.bin file (incresed 0x12,0x22 and substracted 0x1E,0x2E) (http://golant.users.photofile.ru/photo/golant/96680328/xlarge/130345370.jpg) 3. Can I just change VIN in EEPROM with HEX editor? 4. How can I recalculate checksum for changed eeprom file? 5. When I recalculate the checksum I should just to write the eeprom file into ME7.5? Please guys, could someone check my new eeprom file in order not bricked my ECU? :) Thanks to all in advance! Is it correct? ■ Opening 'dolan.bin' file for writing ■ Writing to file ■ Validating size correct 512=512 ■ All OK, closing file This file is off. You can change the vin, and recheck it, but I'd verify it works prior. And than mod Eeprom file and write back. |
