Title: Re: can not connect Post by: aysix on August 10, 2013, 11:47:36 AM Which cable? What OS are you using?
Title: Re: can not connect Post by: ddillenger on August 10, 2013, 11:56:12 AM You need to deselect "Boot in intelligent mode" in the VCDS settings.
Also, it doesn't hurt to install the VCP (virtual com-port) drivers as well, as they're needed for argdubs tool, and many others. Try to uninstall the drivers. http://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm Get the latest and then try again. Let us know. Title: Re: can not connect Post by: adam- on August 28, 2013, 07:05:08 AM Use the newest drivers from the FTDI site - I use the Virtual ones, seem to work first time, every time. Using a cheap eBay copy.
Make sure your port number is right in device manager, if not, change it between 1 and 4. I like it set at 3. If you switch USB ports, the port number sometimes changes, so try and always use the same port! |
