Title: Newb help with 06A 906 032GH Post by: Delta_co on April 10, 2013, 01:11:28 PM I have a 2001 Jetta 1.8T with an 01m auto trans. Until recently, I was unaware of the ability to tune our own files and was not interested in doing so. I stumbled onto this site and have been reading what I can. This is my first post so please bear with me. I have a USB KKL Vag Com cable and a laptop which I have been using for general diagnostics. It is older though, running Windows 2000. I initially downloaded the China Clone Revo Flash 3 files. However none of them match my ecu, and I don't want to brick it right from the start. Can someone help me out with a simple step by step on how to load a bin file, what program I should use (WinOls etc.) and maybe a reliable tune file for this ecu to get started with? Any help is appreciated. Like I said before, sorry for the newb post.

Both in the post and through PM. I just downloaded NefMoto Flasher and will be building a Bench Harness in the next week or so in my spare time. Then to track down a spare ecu. Also, I plan on doing an Auto to Manual swap. If I get an Auto ecu as a spare, can I flash it later with Manual code, or do I need to buy another ecu after the swap?
