Title: Logged coil pack voltage with VCDS. This seems very off to me...Log inside Post by: f1torrents on April 11, 2013, 04:43:03 PM Hey guys. I decided to do a log of before and after my new coil pack install.
The original coils are in the car now, I'm not sure of the revision. BKR7E @ .032 I have a new set of GTI 2.0t coils 06H 905 115 B and a new set of BKR7E @ .040 IN.HG is rock solid at 22 Boosts to the requested 17PSI no problem I have a pretty rough idle and recently at WOT under high boost I get some stumble and hesitation. I figure the plugs and coils are due to be replaced anyway so its a good place to start trouble shooting. The log is as follows In neutral -Idle for a few seconds -1000 RPM for a few seconds -2000RPM for a few seconds -3000 RPM for a few seconds. It seems 2 packs are shot but which 2? The ones with the lower voltage or the higher? Title: Re: Logged coil pack voltage with VCDS. This seems very off to me...Log inside Post by: f1torrents on April 11, 2013, 04:52:24 PM Sorry

Well Damm So what does the varying of voltages mean? Title: Re: Logged coil pack voltage with VCDS. You can't really do anything with knock sensor voltages. The ECU takes the voltage and compares it to the average. Title: Re: Logged coil pack voltage with VCDS. It has a vibration at idle ~800RPM If I slightly press the gas and raise it to 1000RPM its smooth as butter. While driving its also super smooth, no issue except at idle.
