2007 Bettle 2.5 Ecu id 07k906032ac Tried boot moding it and reading but nothing any ideas anyone Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: ddillenger on April 24, 2013, 09:29:15 PM I have one of those, mine's 07K906032BG (2008 2.5L, me7.1.1).
m I have also failed at getting it into bootmode. I'm going to read the eeprom with my chipreader if it ever arrives. I doubt off'ing it will be simple though. Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: k0mpresd on April 24, 2013, 10:21:51 PM i have a 2.5l ecu. pretty sure argdub sent me a version of his tool to read the eeprom. it worked from what i can remember.

Funny thing is, it was the biggest PITA to get into bootmode EVER. Needed to short a 1k ohm resistor between 2 pins on the ecu, THEN bootomode it like any other me7. Apparently the CAN-BUS 7.1.1's are tricky. Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: Igor_VDM on December 22, 2013, 01:35:42 PM Hi Daz, Hi Everyone,
My father owns a 2009 Jetta, with the 2.5 20v 5 cylinder engine. Me7.1.1, 07K906032BM I am having trouble reading the immo bin in this car. Didn't have any trouble reading Immo Bin from my B5 A4 though, using Argdub's tool and my Ross-tech cable. Any chances of getting it over OBD, or is it a waste of time? I don't need to write anything, just need to recover SKC to program a new key. This car was made in Mexico and exported to Brazil, as far as I know this is Immo IV. Igor, Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: k0mpresd on December 22, 2013, 01:53:00 PM use a programmer and test clip. or you can attempt to read in bootmode. a version of argdubs tool has support for later e2p chips instead of just 95040.
Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: ddillenger on December 22, 2013, 04:10:20 PM I got nowhere reading/writing this eeprom over OBD/bootmode. Ended up testclip reading.
Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: f1torrents on December 22, 2013, 05:42:11 PM Are these the pins you were referring to that you had to short?
(http://i41.tinypic.com/28ribtz.jpg) Iv also head of having to remove this resistor but have not tried it. Didn't remove the resistor, just jumpered the ones from the first pic.
Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: f1torrents on December 22, 2013, 05:55:20 PM So you were able to get into bootmode with that trick but had no luck actually reading/writing.
I agree that reading right off the chip is going to be the best route, just trying to get some info on these CAN ME7.1.1 going. Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: ddillenger on December 22, 2013, 06:29:46 PM Yep, I got it into bootmode like that, was able to read the flash with galletto and connect with ME7_95040, but reading always failed. I tried everything I could think of, it just didn't work.
Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: Igor_VDM on December 23, 2013, 07:18:06 AM Hi,
I will not waste my time through OBD in this car anymore. Do you recommend any specific clips/softwares to read the immo eeprom? I saw a few on ebay, but I know some are not good. I will probably use this only one time. In case it is Immo 4. SKC is in the same place as in the previous versions? Thanks Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: vdubnation on December 23, 2013, 08:27:45 AM I was able to read out the eeprom via bootmode with argdubs tool i was playing with memory selection and it worked way back when i posted this.
Not sure but i think this is the file from that ecu. Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: ddillenger on December 23, 2013, 09:02:53 AM The file for that ecu is 4kb in size.
Title: Re: immo disableing 07k906032ac Post by: thegtiman on March 29, 2016, 04:10:23 AM I have the similar problems on a 2007 EU 8P Audi 3.2 ME7.1.1 (BUB)
Using argdub's tool set to 95160 for eeprom memory and the 1k resistor in the picture, I get to the IDCHIP and then the program falls over. I can read the ECU's 800BB not problem with my legit MPPS no problem, even in bootmode. I had no problem to read/write to the older R32 ME7.1.1 ECU (BFH), once the '000' resistor was removed. Short of removing the eeprom I am still stuck on this one. |
