Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: thenextdon13 on October 09, 2009, 12:07:41 PM Tony-
Are these notes of comments that you have been making while decompiling, or is this information from somewhere else? What does the numbering scheme at the left indicate? Thanks... What does the numbering scheme at the left indicate? Thanks... This is a document that I found online somewhere, I don't remember where though. But it is consistent with what I have found in the assembly code. I believe this is an excerpt from some of the factory Bosch documentation, which some special people on the internet seem to have, but don't like sharing. Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: thenextdon13 on October 09, 2009, 02:48:46 PM Ah, does that mean that you don't have the entire file, or that the general community of these folks is keeping it from being shared entirely/uploaded somewhere...
take care Camden Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: Tony@NefMoto on October 09, 2009, 02:56:13 PM Ah, does that mean that you don't have the entire file, or that the general community of these folks is keeping it from being shared entirely/uploaded somewhere... take care Camden I only have a few snippets of the Bosch ME7 documentation. Most of what I know has come from reverse engineering assembler code and comparing it to some of the WinOLS files that are out there. The people that have the full documentation don't want it released, and I would probably lose my contacts if I were able to get the documentation out of them and then publicly release it. Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: thenextdon13 on October 09, 2009, 02:58:18 PM Understood, thanks for the clarification.

If you want those bosch doc's, you will need to pay for it like some of us have. Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: BlackT on May 09, 2020, 08:37:15 AM I nottice one thing, on ME7 from B6 like my BEX it need a certain time for to see actual lambda and to go in closed loop, about 2-3 minutes after every car start even if it is fully warm up.
On passat ECU like AWT that is not a case, when engine is warm up I can see actual AFR a few seconds after car start Both engines use LSU 4.2 and both engines have WBO at same location. I can't find anything about this, and it is really anoing when i need to dial up injectors. What maps could be response for this Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: fknbrkn on May 09, 2020, 09:57:18 AM Check lsu voltage
It's directly from sensor and lr won't work until lsu is Title: Re: ME7 open loop and closed loop switchover Post by: BlackT on May 09, 2020, 02:18:12 PM I was wrong, it show lambda few seconds after starting whenitis full warm up.
Maybe it colls down quick in winter and EGT are bit lower so it made me to think that it is set in software to wait after car start. But that is not truth, that was only long time needed do heat WBO sensor |
