Title: Bootstrap loader uploader failed. Post by: klutched on May 23, 2013, 06:49:05 PM Hello all. I have been trying to read my ecu from its a 2000 a6 with a bosch 7.1. Nothing happens when try to connect using slow or fast init. I try in boot mode and receive message bootstrap loader uploader failed... I have the latest cmd drivers installed and using a galletto cable. Can anyone shed some light on what my problem might be.

For the fast init you will need a license from Tony but you can still use slow init with the right dongle for free. I'm not 100% certain but I think you need the license to use Bootmode also. The cheap ebay usb->OBD cable is all you need. Good luck. Title: Re: Bootstrap loader uploader failed.
