It had be stumped at one point I can tell you... US software usually has it set to 1 bar, European 1.25bar. It's a true boost limiter, not pressure ratio or load. Motronic is built around not caring what target boost pressure. Target boost pressure is determined to be whatever it takes to meet the torque request/specified load without sacrificing emissions and self preservation criteria. Pressure ratio limitation makes perfect sense considering, but boost pressure?
