Title: KRKTE calculator
Post by: hammersword on June 10, 2013, 04:20:16 PM
Hello to all you guys,

This is a small gift from me. I made it on my own some years ago and you can calculate KRKTE for different injectors, displacement, fuel type.

It is based on the original phormula for KRKTE written in Bosch documents!

I hope you enjoy it!

Regards,

Why dont you just update current calculator in me7wizz? It was put in github for that reason so everyone could update it

excel spreadsheets and github don't mix too well...

how can you track diffs or merge changes to binary blobs?

Guys

I don't have that free time to update the calculator. If you can update your calculator and include my KRKTE calculator then it will be excellent!

I like this forum and I really like the good progress in ME7s. Keep trying the good work and I will do more gifts in the future like this that will help you all!

Regards,

There is no way to track changes on any versioning systems for excel files (well atleast I do not know any that could extract visual basic from excel automatically anyway). But anyone can comment their changes and that would eliminate need to manually check everything..

This is why excel sucks ass for real work. It's a fine toy. But much else.

Here you have an updated version of KRKTE calculator which can take into account the ethanol content. Please test and report  :)

Thanks for the spreadsheet, I'll test it and then report the result.
I just have one question. In line F18 Stoich value on Ethanol, can I change the stoich value to 9.003?
because Pure ethanol has a stoichiometric air fuel ratio of 9.003
