Title: Ecu 06A906032TL polo 9N3 GTI swap in golf 1 Post by: scalp06 on August 15, 2013, 03:13:28 PM Hi, I work on a swap project (polo gti 9N3 motor install in golf1 GTI).
I would only use the minimal wiring. I've make an immo (standard two bytes in 95040). I've delete all electronic units from the donor (ABS, GATEWAY, CLUSTER ...). Today, i've test to scan the ECU with VCDS just plug to the light harness (without any sensor). First test on the first ignition on: Address 01: Engine Labels: None Control Module Part Number: 06A 906 032 TL Component and/or Version: 1.8l R4/5VT G01 0040 Software Coding: 11510 Work Shop Code: WSC 00210 Additional Info: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX 11 Faults Found: 16622 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31) P0238 - 35-00 - Signal too High 17069 - ECM Power Relay Control Circuit (J271) P0685 - 35-00 - Open Circuit 18057 - Powertrain Data Bus P1649 - 35-00 - Missing Message from ABS Controller 18107 - Powertrain Data Bus P1699 - 35-00 - Missing Message from Steering Wheel Electronics 18045 - Powertrain Data Bus P1637 - 35-00 - Missing Message from Electric Load Controller 16497 - Intake Air Temp. I've few question, this ecu can run fine in the swap car without limp? If I code out all DTC (conventional method), it's enough? Or need another trick? I think delete air pump, evap, vehicule speedsensor (no speed sensor because info from canbus), N249. Why is stored "Crash Shut-Down Activated" ? Maybe because donor car has crash his airbag? who send this dtc? this dtc is stored because message send by airbag module and only airbag module ok can clear this dtc? Thanks for your help in this project. Pascal Title: Re: Ecu 06A906032TL polo 9N3 GTI swap in golf 1 Post by: scalp06 on August 18, 2013, 01:04:05 AM Hi, the car start fine yesterday ;D good news!
However, the car is not full working (no cooling circuit), then only rev at idle and few accel on neutral. After clearing faults, all dtc "power train databus" and crash shut down are permanent. For the Time ni other fault. Next step, I should working for finish wiring (for test any relay and separate fuse). Then I hope make a test drive for see dtc and limp mode occurs. Anyone know if ecu can run fine without vss, brake and clutch switch? I would run ecu in good condition with adaptation working. Thanks. |
