Was working on a 04.5 GLI 1.8t last night and having trouble logging .When the cluster fuse is in i cant log com is lost right away. With the fuse out i can log day and night but the car goes into limp from the missing VSS signal. So typically i run a designated K-Line from the ecu to the OBD port but i get NO communication at all . I have done this countless times i ve checked all cables but no luck. You don't have to do that.You have to figure out why you are getting limp mode. |
