Title: Trouble flashing 4Z7907551L Allroad ecu.
Post by: stuklr on September 18, 2013, 07:27:18 PM
I have am trying to bench flash an 01 allroad manual ecu. I am using the same bench harness I have used dozens of times before, but with this one I am getting the immobolizer is not authenticated message. I have voltage supplied to pin 21. Does it need the resistor? I thought it just needed power to that pin. Thanks all

Did you disable the immobilizer? If not, that's your problem.

Thought I could still bench flash, but provide 12v to pin 21. No? Guess I gotta try to bench flash immo off.

You must disable the immobilizer to bench flash an immobilizer equipped ecu.

Do you by chance have the picture of which pin to ground when trying to boot mode an allroad ecu with the infineon processors. Can't seem to find it.

I've been able to bench flash these ecu's by doing the ground pin trick while powering them up.

My galleto clone works like 10-15% while mpps works everytime.

Who knows LOL
