Title: edc16 glue - do you add some glue or sealant when you put it back together Post by: ta79pr on September 21, 2013, 08:10:17 AM I opened up my edc16 and unlike the me7 series the glue was hard. It does not seem like it will reseal as well as the me7 generation (that is a black gooey glue).
Do you guys add any sealant to the EDC16 when you put it back together? If so, what? If it is mounted in a waterbroof box and the glue is only there to prevent you from getting in (hello EDC17), then no. If it is mounted somewhere where there is even a slight chance it will get contaminated by water, then definitely yes. Use normal sealant and don't use too much. |
