Title: tried swapping ecus
Post by: kasselmotorsports on September 27, 2013, 05:04:52 PM
I was going to attempt to swap ecus for my 1.8t gti and forgot about immobilizer. my original ecu is now throwing a immobilizer code as well now. I was going to attempt to extract my stock files with the nefmoto tool but it kicks me out for immobilizer. Suggestions on what to do?

VAG Commander 2.5 with your blue cable and read the Pin Code.

Hello,

You can do it how TCST says, or read the eeprom in ecu for login, when you read the eeprom in ecu, than its also easy to make it immo off..If you want, post dump and we make it off.

Immo 3 ecu there is a pin, when you got a immo 2, then read the cluster for pin.

When you read with vag commander, please do not write the eeprom in ecu, that don't work..Better desolder eeprom and read it.
