Title: edc16 [BEW] no cruise control in 6th gear Post by: ta79pr on September 27, 2013, 06:38:04 PM I upgraded to a 6 speed gearbox but the cruise control does not work in 6th gear. Can someone point me in the right direction? Engine and ECU came out of a 05 jetta with a 5spd manual. 038997016L is the tuned file that came with the car (bdmtogo), but the stock file is 038906016Q - 6th gear cruise works in neither. (does anyone have a definition file for either of those they would be willing to share/trade)
Title: Re: edc16 [BEW] no cruise control in 6th gear Post by: NOTORIOUS VR on September 29, 2013, 07:45:12 PM it's a single setting... but I can no longer easily find it since my original is corrupt in my OLS file that I made the modification to. The way I found it was to compare a 6 speed file to a 5 speed file.
EDIT: This is what you need to find and change in your file: Codewort für gangabhängiges FGR-Verbot (CWFGRGA_1_A) for me it was originally set to 195, I changed it to match my 6 speed file to 131 and cruise started to work again in 6th. |
