Title: MED17.5.5 reading problems.. Post by: guille_masco on October 04, 2013, 09:43:55 AM Today I try to read/write a MED17.5.5 TC1767 from a 2013 VW 1.4Tsi Scirocco. Im using Mag x17, Im not suscribed since march, so Im not using latest software, and I didnt have pinout to boot it either.
Anyway, I managed to put it in bootmode, but it was password protected. So I remove all resistors in order to read password, But I get an error while im trying. Is it posible this ecu is somehow TPROT more than 11??? Ecu # is: 03C906026AA 3730 Regards! Title: Re: MED17.5.5 reading problems.. Title: Re: MED17.5.5 reading problems.. Post by: IamwhoIam on October 04, 2013, 04:21:15 PM TProt 8 up to 10 on VAG can currently be read/flashed with commercially available tools. TProt11 came up a few months ago and those cannot be done at this time.
