Title: Bench set up Post by: onsperformance on October 17, 2013, 06:09:40 PM Hi I am new to all of this I have done AUQ conversion on a lupo and need to remove the immobilizer. I want to plug the ECU in on the bench.
Am I correct in thinking I have to wire up the 12V, IGN 12v, Ground's and K-Line? Then how would I go to the USB? by wiring up the K-line to an OBD port then use a Galletto 1260 OBD K-Line Ground's 12v Then Connect to ArgDub? Thanks, Steven Title: Re: Bench set up Post by: k0mpresd on October 17, 2013, 06:54:50 PM you need a standard kkl cable, not galletto clone.

Title: Re: Bench set up Post by: neonhomer on May 04, 2014, 10:07:51 AM I know the above is for a ME7 setup, but what about a ME3.8/5.9
This is what I have so far: ECU OBD-II 1 12 Volt + 16 (Power +) 2 12 Volt - 4 (Ground) 2 12 Volt - 5 (Ground) * Edited for correctness * 3 12 Volt + 16 (Power +) 19 K-Line 7 (Comm) 43 12 Volt + 16 (Flash Enable?) For some reason, I can't get this to work. I tried moving from OBD-II Pin 4 (Ground) to Pin 5, according to the above diagram, but no luck. Anyone have any ideas on what I am not doing right? I based my wiring on these: http://s76.photobucket.com/user/Panicos/media/ME38.jpg.html http://s76.photobucket.com/user/Panicos/media/M59cablepinout.jpg.html *** Edit *** Okay.. I figured it out.... I have to have BOTH OBD-II 4 & 5 hooked up for it to work... DOH! |
