Title: NefMoto - checking it can flash ME7.5?
Post by: Higgy on April 05, 2011, 07:19:21 AM
Sorry to be a pain for asking another question (and thanks to setzi62 for the previous help).

I just want to check before flash writing; that NefMoto can write to ME7.5?  I know it can read ME7.5 as I have read & saved my .bin file.
I could not really find if anyone has actually written. I had problems searching the forum for 'ME7.5' phrases.

You are probably ROFL as maybe ME7 & 7.5 are technically the same, but I could not find any info on this.

I have included the ME7Checker info again as I think it is helpful in identifiying ECU/.bin specifics.

Cheers all.

Nefmoto flashes ME7.5's fine. I use it on my Leon Cupra regularly and it's perfect.

There's compatibility info here in the wiki http://www.nefariousmotorsports.com/wiki/index.php/NefMoto_ECU_Flashing_Software

The compatibility list on the wiki is a bit out of date.

The NefMoto flasher was written to be as safe as possible, which is why it has taken so long to develop. Even if you try to write to your ECU and it fails, it is designed to fail before you have erased anything.
