Title: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness. Post by: Terror_Flynn on December 03, 2013, 02:30:44 PM Hi!
(English is not my native language) I'm interested in using a raceline wideband harness on my ATW engine and test it without MAF and also test and open BOV. I know I need the AWM ECU and the wideband sensor. The problem is that I need to figure out how and what I need to change in the ECU software to make it all work. Is that someone here that has that knowledge? Also, are the WB-harness and bench-harness from Raceline any good? I'm from Sweden and I do not know if Raceline ship their products worldwide. If not, can I get the stuff elsewhere? Title: Re: Sv: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness. I can think it is pretty much stuff that needs to map different in the ECU so you can use only the MAP-sensor and remove the MAF. I have recently read that you can also use a another MAF that are made to blow through. But I can think you need to map a lot of things in the ECU to get it all to work good. I can get that it is no good or precise solutions for an optimal running engine. Title: Re: Sv: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness. Post by: Terror_Flynn on April 25, 2014, 05:20:16 AM I have read about the HPX MAF-sensor that you can use as a blow-through.
And they have 512 points data-sheet on the website so you can calibrate it for Audis. And the sensor is good for a lot of HP if you use the right dimension on the MAF-housing together with your hardware setup. Title: Re: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness. Title: Re: Sv: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness. Post by: Terror_Flynn on April 26, 2014, 01:32:26 PM Yes, I know that you can scale the bosch-sensor for bigger housing and get all to run good and high HP.
But I am curious about blow-through because you can make the plumbing for the air intake easier, neater. Especially if you have a big turbocharger and aftermarket exhaust manifold. But all this is only some thoughts from my point of view. Title: Re: Running mafless with raceline wideband harness.
