Title: ME7.5 Immo Delete DIY Post by: Barney1212 on December 29, 2013, 02:28:30 PM Hello from South Africa,
Yes I am new here and apart of the VW Club of SA. Been trawling around trying to find a DIY so that I can do a immo delete on my ME7.5 06A 906 032 DR ECU. I am doing a AUQ conversion in a Mk3.5 Golf Cabrio. Would like your help so that I can do the conversion and then able to start the car. Is there a way that I can do the delete with just using a standard vagcom cable and not some of the multiple cable ideas I have seen (http://imageshack.com/a/img841/304/8tcr.jpg) Thanks guys ;D Title: Re: ME7.5 Immo Delete DIY Post by: Barney1212 on December 29, 2013, 02:31:59 PM and I know it has been asked a million and one times. Sorry but I cant find a nice step by step or clear diy
Title: Re: ME7.5 Immo Delete DIY Post by: jogtx16v on December 29, 2013, 03:15:37 PM you can start to read this post. this is very helpful to understand how to immo off with ArgDub's software with blue KKL cable. http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=5068.0title=
if your ecu are stock and have no commercial tune in, you can immo off easily. if is already chipped there is risk to brick your ecu. (from what I've read). Im also new to the forum and after some hours of reading, I begin to understand more about this. good luck Title: Re: ME7.5 Immo Delete DIY Post by: Barney1212 on December 29, 2013, 03:47:01 PM thanks

be careful when its time to enter boot mode at pin 24 of the eeprom inside ecu ;) if you have old me7 ecu connector and obd2 to obd1 adapter(2x2), you can do a very nice adapteur like this.
