have an audi a3 1.8t agu with motronic 3.8.2 06a906018D. there is a 128kb flashrom inside. when I try to write the ecu with mpps (choosing a 5.9.2) I get an file lengt error because it must be 256kb. on other forums they said that the 5.9.2 and 3.8.3 are identical: able to write. now I want to buy a3.8.3, knows anybody if its possible to write on of these ecu's by obd: 06A906018AR 06A906018CJ 06A906018CK 06A906018R 06A906018BB 06A906018CG 06A906018CH 06A906018CF 06A906018DM 06A906018GB 06A906018GA 06A906018GD 06A906018DC Title: Re: flashing by obd - motronic 3.8.3 Post by: ddillenger on January 08, 2014, 03:54:11 PM 3.82 is 128. 3.83 is 256, same as M5.92. Don't think you can write 3.82 without a new chip, which requires soldering.
