Title: "RequestUpload was rejected" when validating memory layout Post by: Capt. Obvious on April 18, 2011, 01:52:48 PM I'm getting this error when I try to validate my memory layout. Couldn't find any mention of it when searching, so I'm starting a thread now.

I am 100% sure my ECU is stock and does not have software on it. The car is a 2001.5 B5 S4 with an M-box. Memory layout is ME7 29F800BB. Is it possible it's one of the other layouts? Obvious on April 18, 2011, 03:38:02 PM Well, I decided to just try to flash the ECU without validating the memory layout and it worked fine. Still no idea why it would fail though.

Obvious on April 18, 2011, 07:11:35 PM Well if it did have some kind of aftermarket software on it, I overwrote it today when I flashed judeisnotobscure's file onto it to test it. Everything is working great now, so I'm not sure what the deal was.
