went into flashing the ecu with my new file and it started to do it
then got a msg that cannot clear memory and one more msg dont recall what software said
nefmoto closed connection

disconnect neg battery terminal then step on the brake a few times (this kills saved power in the electronics) then reconnect the battery and see if your ecu is live... If not then hope you have an alternative for recovery

not sure if the issue i am having is with selecting the ecu
i select
----boot mode---
audi vw me 7.x.x 29f800bb ( ground eprom pin 24 )

all works seeding ok, erasing ok, just when it starts to write takes a little bit, no percentage of writting happens and give error msg of writting error

i am doing it in the car since i do not have a bench power supply, but the battery is fully charged and i have a battery charger on it with voltmeter @ 13.8 with ignition turned already on....

strange why it does not want to write then...
everything works in boot mode just writting does not start...
