Title: EEPROM 24C02 from M3.8.3
Post by: c11rgd on February 17, 2014, 04:40:32 AM
Hi, i have a few questions.

I have a ME3.8.2/3 ECU from an AUDI A3 11.8Turbo AGU 1998

The Immo chip, or 24C02 is damaged.

the numbers on the chip are F94AJ 24C02

I am trying to buy a new chip from RS components.

Which one do i need?

Please help. as i have googled my chip and i cannot find anything on it online, is it a Fairchild chip?

Looking a it all that 24C02 in RS Electronics list are all almost the same with just some differences.
I will buy the CAV2402WE-GT3 from ON Semiconductor (it can widthstand up 125C for an Automotive enviroment) or AT24C02C-SSHM-B from ATMEL.
Regards,
