Title: Will KRKTE change on using E25 (25% ethanol) Post by: ABCD on February 19, 2014, 09:05:16 PM if i use E25 in place of gasoline, will the injector flow rate change leading to change in KRKTE?

I agree, but here in Brazil it doens´t like would be :D As example, Golf MKIV has the same injectors and file than ROW... if you see channel 32 you´ll see about +8~10% in LTFT. Same thing with Jetta 2.0 TFSI, about 10~12% LTFT Just few cars have something to deal with this, for example A3 180 that use 512kB file and Audi solved using injectors 10% bigger than ROW but keep the file the same Title: Re: Will KRKTE change on using E25 (25% ethanol) Post by: hammersword on February 23, 2014, 06:41:34 PM for sure the ECU will adapt by at +8-10% as you said if you have KRKTE for Petrol and you put E25!
That is why they offer E85 without software change! Title: Re: Will KRKTE change on using E25 (25% ethanol) Post by: jibberjive on February 24, 2014, 03:35:57 AM I used to mix a couple of gallons of e85 with each tank fillup to get ~E30 in my A4 and S4. It was right around 25-30% that I would get the lean codes, just fyi.
