Title: mk4 vr6 swap in to mk3 Post by: jason777bren on March 10, 2014, 03:22:34 PM I have a vr6, 02j, ecu, and harness out of a 2000 jetta. I plan to swap it into a mk2 or mk3 jetta or golf. I do not.plan to use the mk4 cluster of keys ect. Would I need to disable the immo and if so would I have and issues during it over obd. Thanks.

Theft is always a concern. And if it's immo2, then it's easy, no cluster to worry about. Your call, but I'd try and keep it. |
