Title: Wiring New Diagnostic Port- pin connectors
Post by: phila_dot on May 01, 2011, 11:56:59 AM
I have a new OEM Audi diagnostic port (female obviously) part number 8D0-972-695 and cannot find the correct pin connectors anywhere.

What pin connectors should be used and where to get them?

I will be using this in my bench harness.

Sticky on top, "bench flashing"... Pinouts are there...

I have bought parts from CarPlugs.com in the past: http://www.carplugs.com

There is also Obd2Cables.com: http://www.obd2cables.com

Thanks, but not what I'm looking for. I need the physical pin connectors.

Thanks Tony.

That was all I could find as well, but I was hoping to be able to find them local. I guess I will just have to place an order or get one with a pig-tail from the junkyard.

you could buy the pins from the dealer... probably around $20 for 2 pins with about 2 feet of wire.  best bet is to just go to junk yard for a couple bucks.
