Title: odd MAF readings 5000 rpm and above
Post by: userpike on March 21, 2014, 10:58:08 PM
What the crap is this from?

changed it out, much better quality pic straight from ECUx!

Nyet, It's not running rough at all.

I was having some issues with the MAF but I think I sorted most of it by basically copying the KFKHFM from the file that uses the MAF I am using for the same motor/same MAF sensor part number but larger housing. I have AWP 1.8t and I am using the BEA 1.8t MAF so I have copyed MLHFM over also initially. Also have converted to the k04-023 turbo and Samco TIP. The KFKHFM map basically went back to all 1s in say 90% of the map and very close to 1 in the last 10%ish for stock settings. My logic here is to get the MAF set up stock for what the MAF comes out of which is the TT225qBEA1.8t so i can get the EV14550cc injectors dialed in which my trims (032) are sitting @ -3.9 and 4.7 so I have some further tweeking but I am chasing a possible boost leak and was actually wondering if the funny business above 5000 rpm is from the DV leaking into the TIP.

Does the car run rough?

BTW you can export an image from ecuxplot. You don't have to screen shot it.

it was a bad MAF sensor. Kept getting signal too high DTC

the issue has gone away with a new sensor.
