Will A6 4b0906551k ecu work in a 2004 allroad 6speed?

the allroad has a problem with no start after a full read with nefmoto.   i have since flashed a generic iimmo off eeprom, and reflashed the 800bb .bin  still no start

so i have this a6 ecu i pulled from junk yard, can i flash an mbox file to it and it work on the allroad without issues?

551K is a 2000 A6 ME7.1

Your car is ME7.1.1. Hardware wise, the ecu's are different. You need to flash the 4Z7907551R file to your ecu and it'll work properly again.

Did you read what I wrote?

YOU NEED TO FLASH YOUR ECU (IN YOUR ALLROAD) WITH 4Z7907551R! AFTER WHICH, IT SHOULD COME ALIVE!

THE A6 ECU IS NOT COMPATIBLE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM WITH YOUR CAR, OR YOUR FILE.

:P

Seriously though, you cannot read the 551AA or 551S files with nefmoto or you will get a no start, and a programming not finished DTC. You need to write 551R back and it'll be fine.

He needs to make sure he writes back a me7.1.1 e2p  (immo eeprom) file as well.
I fear he may have used a me7.x file which will not work.
DD has posted both types here if you didnt back yours up.

EDIT..
Reading with Galletto will cause the same issue.
Ask me how I know..:(
MPPS FTW. :)
