Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: ArgDub on May 04, 2011, 08:57:32 PM You could ask nyet, I think he has implemented a format converter from .kp to .xdf.
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: orienz on May 05, 2011, 02:23:31 AM I tried his mapdump tool yesterday but it had some errors. I just sent him a pm, hopefully he will bother to replay :D
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: pvl on May 05, 2011, 04:52:22 AM I'll do a ocr-scan on the original damos for the function-numbering and the damos-abbreviations we now miss in the .csv, so they are also included. (handy to quickly find stuff, and compare)
Cheers, PvL Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: nyet on May 05, 2011, 06:11:14 AM Sorry guys... mapdump only works with a few versions of winols map packs (they change the format around quite a bit)
I'll try to add support for other versions (or at least print a more useful error when it fails).. alternately, if there are some java ninjas out there who want to help, feel free to send me patches ;) Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: msundercober on June 03, 2011, 04:58:53 PM Thank you very much !
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: n00b on June 26, 2011, 07:39:44 PM I'm sitting here staring at the csv , and wondering if i could use my unix shell skills to organize this into a .xdf file........ Looks like a huge undertaking..
How complete is the definition? How exactly is the csv interpreted? I'm looking at the .xdf I have which spen generated and the format does not look too terrible. I think I could probably start by hacking off everything except the german in quotes, and then translating that line by line and feeding it into a new file or replacing it in the CSV once translated........ That could be a step forward. Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: th3cavalry on February 22, 2012, 06:58:28 PM any update on an XDF?
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: littco on February 29, 2012, 02:14:50 AM If you want one, just use the damos to get map and load address and then replace those into an already made xdf, such as the 8n0906018cb I posted. Would only take you a few hours. Easiest way of doing it.
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: azaiats on May 21, 2012, 03:00:28 PM Is there a way I can use this map pack on a 06A906032HP ECU? Here in the forum there is only a partial map pack for HP, and I really would like to have a fully working like this...
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: automan001 on July 25, 2012, 05:27:51 AM Thanks for the definition, it's a good start. Although not all maps are defined. Maps are valid only for VAG sw number '0002'. Does anybody have map offsets for SW '0001' firmware?
Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: littco on July 25, 2012, 08:20:27 AM Load the version you know fits the damos into mapanalyzer along with the one you want to compare and then use the slide to match them up taking the new map locations or working out the offset. Take you 5 mins to work it out.

Take you 5 mins to work it out. Thanks, your advice helped me a lot, I'd discovered "Connect windows" feature in WinOLS. I connected SW 0001 and SW 0002 in hex dump, found matching maps which I was interested and then simply copied definitions via one button click.Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: automan001 on August 02, 2012, 02:36:55 PM In the damos definition MLHFM overlaps with other maps and the curve doesn't look smooth. I shifted it left until i caught beginning of the 512 words curve at offset 0x14534. Is this correct offset for the map? Also what should be offset for voltage X-axis?

I think I've found it, in attached .kp file from HS_HJ_KP_HP_AL_AM (~HN SW0001) the table defined correctly, so I found location of the same map in attached .ols damos for HN SW0002Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: automan001 on October 13, 2012, 07:16:59 AM AUQ HN 0001 and HN 0002 definitions (.kp and .csv)
Corrected LAMFA and MLHFM table and axis locations HN1 is also valid for ARX HJ 0002, AWP HS 0006-0008, and other ECUs from Group VAG100 (See copy of property files xls) HN2 is also valid for ARX HJ 0003 and other ECUs from Group VAG163 Title: Re: 06A906032HN Definition File Post by: joshmuggs on February 06, 2015, 02:39:27 PM Sorry to start up an old topic but did anyone ever make a Good .xdf version of argdubs HN.kp
