Title: Having trouble converting data
Post by: Jamie on April 03, 2014, 04:13:08 PM
I was successful logging into csv format using me logger but the numbers aren't what I would expect. Example for actual boost I am getting numbers between 1 and 5. Any way to convert these to something I understand?

Car? Model? Year? ECU? post the CSV?

You're going to have to provide a bit more information.

Whatever you did, you aren't logging the right data.

Did you try ECUxPlot in my signature?

Boost looks fine to me.

That looks fine. Are you sure it is "hanging" and not just displaying nothing? Unclick "filter" etc?

Please consult the FAQ..

Did that to me on my old netbook.

Try a smaller log/shorter log.

The blue circle just spins
This pc is quad core i7 with 8gb ram and an SSD. I can't imagine it's hardware.  I may do a fresh install.  I tried with and without the filter.  I'll mess with it more if you say everything looks ok. What's am average log size?  How many data lines should I cut them down too with excel?

Don't edit the csv's at all. Just do a single 3rd gear log, and graph it. Should be around 200-500kb in size when logging the typical variables.

If you are familiar with regedit you can try to clear all the prefs and start from scratch.

Does it hang when you start it up, or just when you load a file?
