Title: Having trouble converting data Post by: Jamie on April 03, 2014, 04:13:08 PM I was successful logging into csv format using me logger but the numbers aren't what I would expect. Example for actual boost I am getting numbers between 1 and 5. Any way to convert these to something I understand?

You're going to have to provide a bit more information. Whatever you did, you aren't logging the right data. Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: Jamie on April 03, 2014, 04:54:13 PM 2004 B6A4 1.8t
Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: nyet on April 03, 2014, 04:58:33 PM Did you try ECUxPlot in my signature?
Boost looks fine to me. Title: Re: Post by: Jamie on April 03, 2014, 05:02:18 PM I did but it just froze on me. I ran it in compatability mode as well

I appreciate you looking into this for me Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: nyet on April 03, 2014, 07:40:06 PM That looks fine. Are you sure it is "hanging" and not just displaying nothing? Unclick "filter" etc?
Please consult the FAQ.. Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: ddillenger on April 03, 2014, 07:47:00 PM Did that to me on my old netbook.
Try a smaller log/shorter log. Title: Re: Post by: Jamie on April 03, 2014, 08:43:37 PM The blue circle just spins
This pc is quad core i7 with 8gb ram and an SSD. I can't imagine it's hardware. I may do a fresh install. I tried with and without the filter. I'll mess with it more if you say everything looks ok. What's am average log size? How many data lines should I cut them down too with excel? Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: ddillenger on April 03, 2014, 09:05:16 PM Don't edit the csv's at all. Just do a single 3rd gear log, and graph it. Should be around 200-500kb in size when logging the typical variables.
Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: nyet on April 03, 2014, 10:51:30 PM FWIW the one you posted works fine for me
Title: Re: Having trouble converting data Post by: nyet on April 03, 2014, 10:52:25 PM If you are familiar with regedit you can try to clear all the prefs and start from scratch.
Does it hang when you start it up, or just when you load a file?
