Title: Can this 8d0907551"L" be converted to an "M" .... Post by: A6_C5_Allroad on April 18, 2014, 05:26:59 PM I have this tune that I received from a forum members 3 years ago. My question is, can this be converted to an "M" box for 6 spd, yet maintain the Bosch MAF?
I am very new at this, so please go a little easy on me. I'd like to try this in my A6, 2.7T 6 spd. Yes, I did buy this tune from a forum member. I will say this, that this tune as an "L" box, works great in the A6 2.7t tiptronic, so i figure; why not try it out on my 6 spd? Title: Re: Can this 8d0907551"L" be converted to an "M" .... Can this procedure of copying changed maps over, be done simply and in Tunerpro ( free version )?? I think that you're telling me to load an "M" box file and copy over anything that doesn't look like an "M" box? Is that a rather simplistic way of putting it? Is this a difficult task for a tard like me? Title: Re: Can this 8d0907551"L" be converted to an "M" .... Post by: ddillenger on April 18, 2014, 06:24:01 PM That is correct. Just copy the tuned maps, as there will be many calibration differences between the two for things like startup, fueling, etc.
KFZW, LDRXN, etc, etc. Title: Re: Can this 8d0907551"L" be converted to an "M" .... Post by: A6_C5_Allroad on April 20, 2014, 04:35:51 PM That is correct.
